Here are some updates.
1. Tune in to your local NBC affiliate this evening for the premier of "Chuck". Apart from the fact that at the very least, it won't be a goddamn rerun, and will not feature Ty Pennington, my brother-in-law's excellent band Foreign Born will be making an appearance.
2. In a recent post, I hinted at a couple of Big Things that were on the horizon. Actually, there were three. One of those has been bumped back to Over The Horizon/Not Bloody Likely status. This was a job that I've spent the last month and half pursuing. Doesn't look like it's going to happen, which is too bad. I won't name the company, in case it somehow does materialize, but I will say that had I been hired, I might have ended up sharing a cubicle with this guy.
3. Conversely, I'm pretty close to making an announcement about at least one of the other Big Things.
4. I've been bitching to everyone I know about the lack of Rugby World Cup coverage on TV. The bitching will now cease. (I'd never heard of the Vs. Network either. They are apparently the go-to place for bullriding coverage as well.)
