I would have gotten to this earlier, but I had to defend the honor of Mr. Big Dubya, DadCentric, and, yes, the United States of America. Picking up where we left off yesterday...
 Pearl Jam, Ten
 The Jayhawks, Hollywood Town Hall
Smashing Pumpkins, Siamese Dream (this was a tough year; almost put U2's Zooropa, but realized that when it was released I thought it was terrible. Now it's probably my favorite U2 album. Also under consideration was Liz Phair's Exile in Guyville - I listened to that record a lot back then, because I thought it would help me understand women, and because Liz was and remains a stone cold fox. Finally, there was the album that to this day has influenced my worldview more than any other: The Jerky Boys, by The Jerky Boys. But Siamese Dream still holds up, a bittersweet reminder of how truly awesome the Pumpkins were before Billy Corgan went and shaved his head.)
Nirvana, MTV Unplugged in New York
Ben Folds Five, Ben Folds Five
 Wilco, Being There
Spritualized, Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space
Phish, The Story of The Ghost
 Wilco, Summerteeth
 Phish, Farmhouse
Another toughie, because there just wasn't a lot of good music released up until September 11, and after that who was in the mood to buy records? 3-Way Tie - Tool, Lateralus; Jack Johnson, Brushfire Fairytales; Ryan Adams, Gold.
 The Roots, Phrenology
 The White Stripes, Elephant
 Green Day, American Idiot
 Death Cab for Cutie, Plans
 Wolfmother, Wolfmother
Arcade Fire, Neon Bible (another tough call; also considered were Wilco's Sky Blue Sky and Bloc Party's A Weekend in The City)
